Feeling Insecure? Maybe Your Solar Plexus Chakra Needs a Little Tweaking …

Lavender Essential Oil to the Rescue!

Lavender is a universal oil that works where needed, balancing mind, body, and spirit. I use it daily and always carry a bottle with me.

Like many, I’ve had my share of emotional drama and trauma this lifetime. When I realized that healing the trauma was possible, I began exploring options, leading me to so many healing modalities. Although I respect Western medicine, I sense that something has been lost, as if the soul of healing has been replaced with pills and surgery.

I prefer traditional healing methods, such as acupuncture, massage and bodywork, craniosacral therapy, and Reiki. These methods utilize the body’s natural energies to initiate harmony and healing. Essential oils are a perfect complement for these modalities.

What are Essential Oils, and How do They Work?

They are extracts from plants that capture the plant’s natural benefits. It’s all about frequencies. Universal law states that everything vibrates and has its unique frequency, including the human body’s organs, glands, and various systems.

Clinical research shows that essential oils have the highest frequency of any known natural substance. Their chemical structure is similar to that found in human cells and tissues, making them compatible with the human body and therefore enabling them to be readily identified and accepted by the body.

Because they are more readily identified and accepted by the human body, essential oils have the natural ability to change the body’s vibrational frequency. Why is this important? Elevating our frequency allows us to see more clearly what is true, illuminating the path to healing. Change your frequency, change your life.

Chakras: An Essential Part of Our Well-Being.

Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning wheel and refers to the energy points in the body, which are seen as spinning disks. These disks correspond to the body’s organs and nervous system. When in balance, we experience emotional and physical well-being.

The seven main Chakras are the root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye, and crown. These energy points run up the spine, with the root at the base and the crown just above the top of the head.

Author and chakra expert Anodea Judith explains that one of the most effective ways to create emotional and physical wellness is to balance the distribution of energy throughout thebody. This determines the course of our lives with appropriate responsibility and freedom.

The Solar Plexus, manipura, is located just below the belly button and is known as the power chakra. This chakra is the home of our life force, our prana. It is where our human personality and ego-self are defined.

The Solar Plexus.

The Solar Plexus, located just below the belly button, is known as the power chakra. This chakra is the home of our life force, our prana. It is where our human personality and ego-self are defined. The Sanskrit word for this chakra is Manipura, meaning lustrous gem, and is associated with the color yellow.

When this chakra is out of balance, it can lead to feelings of insecurity, self-doubt, and the manifestation of negative beliefs. It can also result in digestive issues and a lack of personal power.

The good news is that it is easy to restore balance. Start by wearing something yellow, such as a dress, hat, scarf, etc.

Using Lavender Essential Oil.

Inhale. Place a drop onto the palm of one hand and gently massage with the other. This breaks up the molecules, allowing the oil to be quickly absorbed. As you do this, repeat this affirmation to yourself: I am worthy.

Apply this essential oil to the Solar Plexus by gently massaging it into the belly. You can also massage it into the soles of your feet and the heart.

Diffuse lavender throughout the day, but most especially at night. It is aromatic and relaxing. So go chill!

Success!

I am happy to say that I have successfully moved through most of my trauma. Life presents events that can be triggering, but I’ve learned to recognize them more readily and use the tools I’ve acquired over the years to bring myself back to the present moment.

True healing starts with this simple awareness and by accepting the sacred interconnectedness of our emotional and physical body.

My journey led me to some remarkable healers, for whom I will be forever grateful.
