Love Is

A blue heart cracked open, glowing with golden light from within, resting on a textured blue surface.
Even through the cracks, love shines on.

Love is the whole thing. We are only pieces.
— Rumi

Sometimes love feels far away, hidden beneath the weight of our days. Yet when we pause and listen, we remember: love has never left us. It is the ground we walk on, the light that carries us through the dark, the breath that whispers we belong. Inspired by Rumi’s words, “Love is the whole thing. We are only pieces,” I wrote this as a simple love letter, a reminder of what has always been true.

Love Is: A Love Letter

Love is always here, never missing,
only forgotten.
It waits with patience,
until we surrender,
until we remember,
and return to the sacredness within.
Love is.

Love is the light at the end of the darkest tunnel,
the roar of ocean waves pounding the shore,
the whisper of butterfly wings after the storm.

It is the song of the whales,
the call of the dolphins,
the coo of the mourning dove.

Love is the nameless vastness
that moves through everything—
never judging,
never leaving.

Love is the gift of the Divine,
the thread that binds us,
the truth beneath every breath.
It is all there is,
and all there ever will be.

Love is not something we need to earn or chase — it is already here, pulsing through every crack, every wave, every wing. May these words be a small reminder that you are held, you are whole, and you are love itself.
