It is rumored that Queen Cleopatra, while in the depths of her love affair with Marc Anthony, ordered her servants to fill an entire room with more than one foot of rose petals. Imagine falling into your lover’s arms while inhaling the arousing aroma of roses!

Roses have a rich, glamorous, sometimes flamboyant history. Its stimulating and intoxicating fragrance has fueled the imagination of poets, artists, and perfumers for centuries.

Throughout history, extravagant rose gardens have adorned homes and palaces alike.

Won’t you come into the garden? I would like my roses to see you. ~ Richard Brinsley Sheridan

It is said that Roman emperor Nero was obsessed with roses, so much so that he had rosewater flowing from specially built fountains. This way, his guests could sprinkle themselves with the aromatic water. His banquet tables were always adorned with rose petals.

The Magic of Rose Essential Oil

Since ancient times, roses have played a vital role in various healing modalities. Greek physicians found that roses had cooling properties. Native Americans have used parts of the rose to aid in reducing inflammation.

Pure therapeutic-grade rose essential oil has been known to relieve nervous tension, headaches, infections, and digestive problems. In addition, its soothing properties hydrate the skin, promoting regeneration and reducing irritation.

According to the Reference Guide for Essential Oils, Rose has a spiritual frequency of approximately 320 MHz, the highest of all the essential oils. It enhances the frequency of every cell, bringing balance and harmony to the body.

Due to its high frequency, rose has been found helpful in eliminating or reducing emotional blocks, balancing chakras, supporting physical healing by addressing energetic imbalances, and promoting well-being.

So, indulge yourself. Inhale, apply, diffuse.

Using anything less than 100% pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils carries the risk of not producing the desired results and may, in some cases, be toxic.

If you are pregnant, have a disease or medical condition, or are using a prescription medication, it is recommended that you consult with a healthcare professional who has experience with essential oils before using them.

Although many essential oils are suitable for use on children, we strongly recommend diluting them with a carrier oil before use.
